What happens after a few months or years of dating people is that they tend to settle. They usually "I already have my girlfriend / my boyfriend" so they stop worrying too much and things end up falling on the automatic. At first it's always like many would say "perfect" because it's a new relationship, one always wants to impress the other. So it is important not to be accommodated, but in addition there are other important things as well, such as being loyal, sincere, being companion and, above all, loving the person.
