Trust love and forgiveness
For me, it has to be communication. There's no question about it - especially in relationships where we have to be so vulnerable all the time. If I can't communicate with my boyfriend/partner about what's going on, we're not going to last very long!
Other things that are essential to me is trust, honesty and respect. I've always felt that love isn't just something you feel for someone - but something you do; it's a practice. Even when we're all dressed up and married - we won't stop practicing love and making the relationship work.
Trust. Other things will come eventually but without trust, you will not have time to know the person.
