Would you rather be loved or feared?
Since I don't know what it means to be loved and I have no need to be feared, I would like to know what it means to be loved.
Easy, both. I want people to be afraid of how much they love me.
@captainandking i was thinking of this same response lol. if you are an Office fan, kudos to you
a little of both
I would say both. That way people would leave me alone and no one would get hurt, but once you have the balls to talk to me its all good.
I am Loved by may family and the friends that matter and also by my Savior so I am good but sure I wanna be Loved but I do also want some to know that I am someone that will stand up against what I believe in and that if you mess with my Family you mess with me ... I also am not a doormat any longer
What!? Is this even a real topic. Fear is the most toxic of emotions. Fear brings all of our woes. Fear I work more than others. Fear I am not getting my share. Fear someone else is loved/liked more. Fear I won't measure up to others expectations. From fear we get greed, envy, hatred, loneliness and division. Fear of failure keeps us from trying to reach our potential, and fear of being left behind keeps us from helping others reach their's. If we could rid ourselves of fear...all other negative emotions and actions wouldn't have an impetus.
I COMPLETELY AGREE. @RealityCzech
@RealityCzech thank you for these strong words! I totally agree!
@RealityCzech Thank you for saying that. I know what it feels like to be intimidated and how it is to fear someone, it's a horrible sensation.
Feared bc:
I would be really loved. I haven't been very often. Every relationship I came close but I feel used. I was told I am a giver. What that is supposed to mean?? I grew tired of the psychobabble.
I want find someone that I have many things in common and love me, not see me as a meal ticket or a source of entertainment.
@Demetrios179276 "a giver" someone who finds joy or contentment in helping others reach their potential. I would call that a great compliment! The only way to find someone like you is to keep being you. Don't look someone, just be the someone you want in your life. You will be used, you will be someone''s entertainment. Never surrender. Be true to yourself. People seek that which appeals to them. Go somewhere other "givers" go and find people like you. I volunteer on weekends, I teach and I stop and help others when I see I can. I get used all the time. I have 2 true friends, I've had 100s just use me...those 2 make it all worth it.
Fear damaged my relationship with my mother. I don't want anyone to fear me the way I fear her. I would rather be loved.
Loved of cause
