Habits We Need To Develop!!
Ello Lovelies, How're we doing?
I was reading the questions and answers shared by our lovely fellow members. I noticed our habits impact the relationships we have. Habits could nurture the relations as well as have power to ruin it too.
Habits seem so powerful. In fact, I also believe that our habits form us as who we are, what we do and a good affect on relationships we have with people around us. So, I collected the thoughts and here I'm with some habits I guess we need to develop to maintain a better and healthy relationships with all.
I) Listen!! Most of us misunderstand that hearing and listening is same. Though, there is a difference.
Listening is an active process while hearing is passive. For example: when I listen music, my mind, body and emotions respond to the specific music. Same we need to put in our relations. Pay attention to what other saying and respond to them. Let them finish their thoughts sharing before you frame a response to them. Sometimes, quick jump to conclusions can create misunderstanding and ruin the relations.
I know, I experienced. I was there.
II) Know Your Questions. When you listening, you likely to ask questions to start a deep conversations. Questions help to filter. Questions are a good way to know that if you understanding their thoughts well or if there is any gap, then they could fix it. Allow you to build a better relationship with them.
III) Remember What Others Find Important. Relationships is also about making others feel important. To make others feel important, it is good to remember what they find important. Little things and info about them will take you a long way in building a stronger and lovely relationship. Point is do something to make them feel special and important in your life now and then. It builds the connection between two better.
IV) Time is the key. Relationship is like Rome. Not built in a day. It takes time at own pace. You might encounter people who want to tell you everything about them the moment you met them or vice-versa. However, it could be overwhelming. It may lead to loss of interest in this relationship. So, probably take your time to share your thoughts and know about them. Step by step. Small efforts everyday will take you long way without feeling burned out. Enjoy your relationships!!
So, what are your thoughts? What do you think? What other habits could we develop? Share with us and let's discuss

@ASilentObserver
In a relationship which is out of the listener-member context, I think it very important to understand and to take time to fully "feel" someone. I realised a lot of people don't really put much thought when other people are in trouble but would expect others to empathise and be kind to them when they are in trouble. Practice give and take. Try to understand people's shortcomings instead of just writing it off as something not to care about just because it doesn't bother you but it deeply upsets others. Do what you expect others to do for you.
@ASilentObserver I find this very interesting and I could relate honestly...specifically with the ''listen first and don't jump to conclusions'' part. I do believe also it's essensial to practice compassion and put yourself in the other person's shoes...I think that will make them feel important too
@ASilentObserver I love this
I agree with it so much. And adding onto the time and listening - if you think the situation requires it then step back for a moment to collect your thoughts and let tempers cool before listening to each other and calmly talking about the issues
@ASilentObserver ahh yes these habits are perfect! I think we all need to focus on each other more rather than focusing just on ourselves, especiqlly when it comes to forming a healthy relationship!
