@ASilentObserver I agree! Stress from a toxic relationship can be so hurtful to yourself. We should always consider ourselves in our relationships and make sure not to push away thoughts about how it's hurting our health.

I am a perfect candidate for the toxic relationship I'm in right now. I have never had high self esteem and I am away from my family and friends. Being socially awkward, I haven't made any friends in the last 7 years. This toxic relationship I'm in is nearly over. It has been very confusing, painful and heartbreaking. It is about all the little things every day, all the comments, never positive... And then, the denial - "you misunderstood me, I didn't said that, I didn't mean it like that, it's all in your head" ... All the arguments... "if you didn't said this, if you didn't do that, I've never seen anyone do this, we wouldn't have had an argument". And then the shouting in my face, threats to punch me, blackmailing me with our son... It is messing with my mind, I don't know what's real and what isn't. I now have low self-esteem, anxiety and depression. And I'm still trapped in the same house with him... Recently it's getting worse as I've said I want to move out. I won't be able to help myself until I will move out...
It impacted my mental health in a very bad way. We had a nice relationship. He was my first love and we were really connected but after a while, he cheated on me even dough he didn't accept it. And I stopped talking but we fought with each other for 4 years. And I still have trust issues but my current boyfriend is very patient about it and supportive.
