Introvert or Extrovert?

Are you an introvert or an extrovert?

What do you think are some traits or personality features that you have that make you an introvert or extrovert? Also, what do you wish those of the opposite personality type would understand about your personality type - for example, if you're an introvert, what do you wish more extroverts would understand about your personality type?

Very introverted.

Being around people drains me.

I have a relationship with an extrovert who does not understand this..makes things very difficult.

I was extrovert as a kid: loud and lots of friends

Now after my life issues. . . I am way more introvert. I rather just work on my book 85% of the time

I am an introvert. what I wish extroverts understood about introverts is that we aren't in a position where we "aren't living life to it's fullest", and that unlike them, we don't need full social interaction in order to have fun. Being an extrovert has its very good qualities of course, but sometimes they act like they're character is the best way to be--as if to say there its a fault to be an introvert. Extroverts often seem to think introverts need to be 'converted', so to speak, into them.

I think it depends. While I enjoy my alone time very much, I can also be around people without wanting to r*p my skin off entirely. I am quite performative (in the sense that I am more animated around people than I would be if I were alone, not necessarily by choice; it's more like my brain goes on social survival autopilot). I do end up feeling... tired but still running on some volatile energy. It's not a comfortable feeling. Like I'm running off of coffee. Usually, when I get home, I crash and need atleast 3-5 days to feel relatively normal again.

Not a fan of crowds or small talk either.
