I want that person who believes in cooperation and participation, not control and competition. I want someone to share the details of his day and listen to me. Whoever supports my ambition, not someone who underestimates me. I want a companion, not a person who can handle all our affairs according to his suit.
I want someone who is willing to listen and, despite not understanding some things regarding my life, support me though my struggles, and work with me on overcoming things that require partnership. Someone invested, caring, loving and compassionate, who respects themselves and others. ❤️
@PeppermintStar0912 I've only ever had one serious relationship before and unfortunately that just ended after years together. I don't know if I have a type but considering why he left, I would say that I look for a suportive partner. I don't want a partner to just hold my hand when I am upset but someone who stands by my side when I need to battle something chonic in my life.
I don't know if that makes sense to anyone else. But it seems as if there are layers of support and people can be supportive in different ways. My ex was understanding when I had anxiety attacks and he was a calm reassuring person when I needed that. But he wasn't the same for longer issues in my life. He could withstand short anxiety attacks but he wasn't there for me when I was struggling with depression for long periods of time. He ran away and asked for space when my grandmother died and I was mourning. I don't just need someone to be supportive through the smaller or shorter lows. I need someone who is willing to stick with me through the hardest phases of my life.

I don't know physical but I think I am attracted to more traditionally feminine things. Non-physically I like people with a sense of humor.
