@AveryLove

Love this post! I think it's really so important to have awareness for this. There are so many things included for the same which is covered by maximum of forum posts and group discussions, you guys have come up with! Can't wait to get started. For all those who do go through this I'd just like to say - "It's okay to walk away and it's okay to take your time in doing so. I can understand how hard it can get but sometimes waiting for the moment to be ready might just as well be a future moment. You're not alone and you'll get through this. I know you've it in you! I can only say, it's okay. It's okay to leave, and look for something you really deserve."

I personally haven't experienced anything like that but I'd love to be able to support someone who does go through it! ❤

I went to a teen dating violence awareness seminar at my school today (I was in a all girls group) and it was so eye opening. I didn't even realize I was in an abusive relationship in the past until now. But even more important was the realization that everyone in that room had a story. We all shared at the end and it was so incredibly sad but also supportive. We were all crying and helping eachother and it was really intense, but also necessary. I was able to cry and let out all of my emotions and be heard and understood. Today was exhausting but also eye opening so if you have a chance to go to one of these type of meetings, please do. It was definitely worth it.

@AtlasHeart6116 hey there Atlas. Glad to see you here!

I am glad to hear that this seminar helped you realize that you are in an abusive relationship, however, i cant even imagine how tough it must be for you now to cope with this as you just found out. How are doing with this? What exactly made you realize in this seminar that you are in an abusive relationship? heart

And I am so glad that you all were able to share your stories and experiences and support each other - you see, you are never alone in this and it is so important to stand together and lift each other up in dark times in order to rise.

We are definitely 100% here to support you and listen to you through it all. Keep us informed on how you are holding up with this and we d be glad to support you the best we can.

Best regards, Avery.

@AveryLove

I am Kayla. I absolutely love this post. I have been through Narcissistic Abuse for about a year and a half. And my ex would always verbally, emotionally, and mentally abuse me and it would always be so hard for me to speak up because then he would blame me for everything. Even for when he would look at other girls and blame me for being the reason because "I wasn't the same" and it was mentally draining and now I am glad to share my story and say that I am free from that abuse. And my surrogate sister was a victim of domestic violince, she was physically abused which is what led to her death. Her anniversary of 3 years being brutally murdered is on November 10, this year will be 3 years. It is difficult but I got my mom and brother. Thank you for posting this <3

@godsgirl2481 hello Kayla! thank you for coming here and sharing your story, i can imagine it must not be easy to talk about it. I am really sorry to hear about your experience with your ex who abused you in many different ways - you did not deserve to experience and be treated like that. You deserve respect and kindness in a relationship. I understand it would be hard to speak up when someone keeps blaming us for everything. I have been there too and i can imagine how that must feel like for you.

But it makes me really happy to hear that you enjoy sharing your story and that you are now free from this abusive relationship. You must be really strong to go through all this in your teen years.

I am truly sorry to hear about your suggorate sisters death due to domestic violence and I am sending you all my best wishes, endless hugs and support. My prayers will be with you and your sister this year if thats okay for you.

We are here to support you through all these ups and downs. Let me know if we can support you in any way and we d be more than glad to.

Love, Avery
