@AveryLove Friendship is a relationship built with someone. Since the questions here have said a lot already, I'll put in another way of looking at it.
I think of it like colors! For example, each one of us is a color. A friendship is what we do with our colors with another person. Do we blend and make a completely different color? Do we make a pattern or a picture?
Friendships are unique for each pair. Sad to say I think some can be toxic or clashing, but most make wonderful partnerships. In any case, we add colors to each others' lives and things wouldn't be the same without any of them :)

Friendship is to always be there for someone no matter what the circumstances with all the love and respect that you can give.

It means someone I can be myself with and still be accepted.
Someone I know who I will have my back.
Someone who cares about me and wants the best for me.
Someone who I feel stronger with.
Someone who supports my dreams.
