29 and everyone is having sex apart from us
My boyfriend and I havent had sex in a year and 6 months.
Ever since covid and being in lockdown, sex has become a big elephant in the room. The longer our dry spell goes on the more of an issue its becoming.
We cuddle and spoon at night. But he only pecks, not a full kiss. When I ask him about sex and trying to be intimate, he gets flustered and says he feels pressure so he doesnt feel the urge. Its becoming really hard as I adore him but I feel like my sexuality is being supressed.
I havent seen him get hard for well over a year and when I ask if he watchea porn or pleasures himself he says he doesnt as he has no sexual urges. I have suggested he sees a doctor in case he has something else going on. But he gets offended, which I understand I perhaps approached the situation in a wrong way.
But he doesnt try to have sex or have foreplay, he seems to get frustrated when I speak about it and he doesnt want to see a doctor.
We really are best friends, we speak about starting a family and getting married. We laugh together and cuddle up etc at night and he is very kind and takes me out on date nights and does lovely gestures. But having no sex or intamacy at all is killing my confidence.
Can a sexless relationship last? how else can I try to get the spark back?
He has signed up to the gym and said he wants to loose some weight in the new year, so I know he wants to better himself. I just really struggle, but could it all work out?
Has anyone else gone through a dry spell and its come back?
If i speak to any friends they judge , laugh or tell me he doesnt love me anymore.
We both struggle with mental health so I know its just something we have to try to figure out and work through. I just need some real advise!

there are many medical conditions it can be and he perhaps should see a doctor like you told him....
I do not think it is you as he is being fine in other respects.... if it is medical and can br treated yes you can resolve even after a long time .... but do not kid yourself you will grow tired of not having your needs met.... and DIY and toys are not the same.
It is frustrating but if he is avoiding medical treatment he must be scared of what they may say ... but pretending it will fix itself is not wise.
