Advice
I haven’t been in a relationship for 10 years, currently in one now for about 6 months and we are 13 weeks pregnant. For a couple weeks now daily my partner has been telling me stuff that I do bothers her and to me it’s all little stuff. But it just been piled on to where I’m starting to feel defeated. For example stuff I do that bothers her, way I chew my food (I chew with my mouth closed) not putting empty hangers away and leaving them where I got my sweatshirt or pants, also my breathing like I breathe to heavy. I feeling defeated and it’s believe it’s making back of or kinda nervous on what I do around her and it’s starting to get to the point where I’m making her feel unappreciated and less romantic. Kinda unsure on what to do. Ik I’ve been out of relationships for awhile and may need to relearn
@Aayla honestly communication was great before the pregnancy but also were in that “honeymoon” phase of the relationship. That’s why I mentioned the pregnancy bc Ik it probably has a huge factor into things bothering here. I feel I’ve been very supportive and I’ve been present. I listen to what she needs and do whatever she needs to help her (it’s very difficult for her to ask for help, very independent). I try not to take it personally bc Ik her hormones are through the roof right now but I’ll admit day after day after day it does start to get harder to not take it personally. Ik she recently told me she feels she has to reteach me out to be in a relationship, and in a way she probably is a little right since I’ve been on my own for so long.
