I think it is normal to be upset when a person does that ....

did they let you know where they were or that they were safe ?

or was it an i am staying somewhere for a break...... either way being upset is understandable

I don’t think that feelings are moralistic. In that, I don’t think people can be right or wrong for feeling any type of way.

I do think that the *actions* you take because of what your feeling could be better or worse, though.

Have you communicated how you felt with your partner? Have you both discussed some expectations when it comes to communicating whereabouts?
