Anybody has the same issue as me?

anxious about what to reply, what to say, why they are not replying me? Afraid that we are seen too eager? Saying wrong things, or do wrong things to the person we are dating?

does anybody knows how to tackle this dating anxiety?

open for advice!! <3

I’ve currently went through this and my experience may not be the same as others but i found that the reason i went through this isnt due to the crazy strong and scary anxiety i have it was the fact that i dont wanna be alone to my thoughts to where my anxiety and depression decide to team up on me so it felt like i was constantly afraid that i said the wrong thing to the person or i was bugging them to much but in all actuality i just was 1 of 2 things afriad of pushing away another person in my life or afraid of being alone the best advice i can give is to take a small step back take a deep breathe and try and notice the ques they are giving you and give your mind reassurance that everything will be okay

@siskaliee

I think many...... if not most people have the same thoughts and concerns about dating.

we want to appear to say everything perfect ... and return responses are quick and leave no room for our minds to wonder ..... but that is not real....

to really be seen and appreciated in a relationship even friendship is to be able to show the real you and accept the real them ........IF we start trying to be perfect .. when can we relax and be ourselves ...

most texts can be taken various ways even a small typo or auto correct could throw us off .... we have to learn to just go with it. perhaps a delayed response is they do not know what to say back to sound good and be perfect either.... so much stress even before the dating begins.

@siskaliee Mostly be honest with yourself and your significant other about how you're truly feeling and where you want the relationship to go.

It seems to me that this is how it happens for almost everyone)) And it is not clear what exactly you meant. There are regular dates that just start naturally - in the company of friends, visiting relatives or in a club. It seems to me that it is more natural for the psyche. But there is another very popular option - online dating. Personally, it is much more difficult for me to tune in to the same wavelength with a stranger. I prefer long online chats before a real meeting. I asked questions in the chat for colombian women dating - https://uadates.com/colombian-brides.html What I was told confirmed my theory about the pause before the real meeting. It cuts off those people who are frivolous about relationships. If you are serious, then you need to be patient .. The online site gives a large selection and you will definitely be able to choose the fish that is happy to be on the hook.

@siskaliee

Hi siskaliee!

It's probably more common than we think! Sorry you are experiencing that, yet it's not only you, it's something common, don't feel wrong for your anxiety 💙

Now, thinking at why it happens and how it's possible to lessen the negative emotions, I totally agree with what @toughTiger6481 wrote.

Trying to be perfect plays a role with the increasing anxiety. Sometimes we are not even aware of that pattern. To be yourself could better help building a genuine bond: we all need to be accepted for who we are and to accept others the same.

Do you think it's possible for you to try being yourself because YOU are worth a good interaction?

I wish you guys will find a way to interact positively, focusing more in knowing the other vs feeling judged 💙

Take care!
