Dealing with jealous partner

My long distance boyfriend knows about a friend that I have who is from the same country he is from. The friend had asked me questions that seemed more than friendly, and I had told my LDR about it and he seemed to laugh it off. I am supposed to visit my LDR in two weeks and my friend happens to be in the same airport that I will be on a layover in. My LDR got mad at that and I am trying to reassure him that I have no feelings for the other guy. I sent some apology texts and im not sure if he is ignoring me or not. I just feel really anxious about this and thought I was doing the right thing by telling him about the questions.

My LDR also wasn’t really talkative the last two weeks and im not sure if this was because of this situation. I discovered the jealousy yesterday. The last time we talked, we didn’t get in a fight and everything was fine so im just confused on how to proceed.
