Feelings for Friends
I’ve recently started to have feelings for one of my good friends that I have been friends with for four years. Due to my past relationships I have developed a lot of trust issues and really only start to have feelings for people I’m friends with because I already trust them. She’s the first person in a long time that I can really see myself having a long term relationship with. I don’t know what to do because I have no idea how she feels about me but at the same time it’s killing me inside. How do I bring something like this up to her? Is it worth even trying?

Love is always worth trying for. It sounds like you require a meaningful friendship before you start to feel romantic feelings, which is perfectly normal. If you don't mention your feelings to her, you may see her move on with someone else and that could cause you more hurt than just her rejection. It is important, to be honest with how you feel. You mention you're pretty close; four years is a long time. If you want to be with her in a significant way, let her know!
