Future Fake
My biggest pet peeve when it comes to dating is when people future fake. Whenever I tell someone I’m talking to or are interested in, that I want to do something with them I truly mean it. But a lot of the times it seems like it’s not like that the other way. A lot of the time the people I’m talking to will say that we should do this or that together but it never happens because guess what, they ghost me. Why do people do this? Is it because they really mean it but then they meet me and are like nvm? Is it because they use it as a tactic to manipulate you into believing they’re interested when really they just wanna pass time? Or are they narcissistic and like to lie? All I know is that stuff is hella annoying and it happens over and over again to me and I’m fed up.
I understand that kind of annoyance. It's kinda painful to me honestly. I have planned parties or get togethers before where no one shows up. It makes me feel like a loser. But I'd feel terrible if I told someone I would be there and then I forget about the event or something else gets in the way. Even if I felt like not going anymore at the last minute, I'd still go, because I said I would. Yeah I don't know. Maybe we're just weird like that
