HELP!
I’m an LGBTQ woman (I prefer women but I’m asexual) and I’ve been single since 2019. Seeing couples together in public makes me feel incredibly depressed and jealous. I’ve been using dating apps but they don’t work. I’m also angry because my sister’s married and I’m not. What should I do?

So, it sounds like you are feeling frustrated when you see other couples. Do you maybe compare yourself to them and find something wanting in the fact that you are single? What is it about being single that is bothersome to you? Is it the lack of social companionship, a marker of some sort of lack of success or something else?
Perhaps you can look at some of the posts about managing frustration or catastrophising for ideas of things to try.

Oh, that sucks, being lonely. I hope that you might find some friends here that help you feel a little less lonely.
And maybe a word of caution: there's plenty of people in relationships who feel lonely. So you might have more success if you deal with the loneliness first and then think about a relationship.

Hi there. Thanks for reaching out. Rather than focussing on being single can you perhaps think of something you’d like to do in the way of spending your free time? Hobbies and interests can be good way to meet others and build relationships.
