Happy How Things are Progressing But...
So, recently I started talking to this guy, and did the first time in a long while I feel... happy? Like, he's super mellow and down to earth. Easy to talk to...
He always writes back long texts, and not many people do that! So extra points lol.
He's also very respectful and doesn't rush into things, like my physically & verbally abusive ex fiancé (who was a former alcoholic) did...nor my brother's friend whom I dated for close to a year until he ghosted towards the end, and who gave mixed-signals while playing me basically...my brother's friend also happened to be a drug addict & alcoholic who partied all the time...
This guy I'm talking to is different though, and I'm worried I'm going to ruin it. He's a doctor, doesn't smoke, I don't think he drinks either? He has his own place, he's ambitious, and he's been respectful towards me.
I'm worried though... That I'm no good for him. I'm currently unemployed and lost my job when son ended up in hospital (the job basically said you either follow schedule or leave, so I left and they panicked), I don't have my own place since I lost it, and live with one of my older brothers who's planing on moving back to our homestate, and I lost my car too.
But he's still talks to me knowing this??
Idk I feel like I'm not on his level at all...
But he's nice and supportive telling me I got this.
I have plans...
I plan on going to a DV Shelter once brother moves if I don't have a job in time to take over his lease.
For job wise, I'll talk to people I know or just work a simple retail job or call center job for now (I've done many different fields, so this would definitely be a step down, but it's fine). I haven't even started my web dev business yet... everything has been crazy...
I...made friends in this city and don't want to move back into my abusive mother's house at homestate like my brothers. They all moved back in with her...She's a control freak and will mess my life up. She was also very physically & verbally abusive towards me too...and did SA... I can't live with her...
Once I get a job, I do want to take him out on a date (we met on a dating app, I normally don't do online dating, but he matched with me...and I thought he was cute & interesting).
Idk lol. Anyone else kinda...dealt with these issues??

It can be hard to still the voices in your head that are trying to tell you negative things about you. If this guy has not made any of these statements about you and is enjoying you, maybe he just likes you as you are, and the rest is not something that matters to him! I am blessed to have a man in my life who loves me unconditionally. When I gained a bunch of weight, he still loved me. He never hounded me to lose it or tried to make me feel like I was anything other than beautiful. That was hard to accept, but eventually I realized that he meant the words he said, and I had to put away my thoughts and pay attention to how he was treating me. Love and respect are so awesome! It was a truly life-changing experience, to accept being accepted! Now I'm unbelievably happy, plus I am successful career-wise, because he has been such a positive light in my life. Consider that this guy could perhaps lift you up in these same ways and give you that extra boost you need to find your way forward, just by believing in you! I wish you all the best - it does sound like you have a full plate right now, and I hope this person continues to be someone who gives you the space to achieve all of your goals and becomes your biggest cheerleader!
