Help
I've been seeing someone for a while now and she doesn't seem to feel the same as I do she says we are together but it seems that it don't matter if we see each other or even talk I could use some advice on what I can do to get her to understand that I feel alone and unwanted I've already told her about my feelings but it don't seem to do any good can anyone help me or am I doomed to love someone who don't show any type of feelings
Well, the only thing to do is talk to your partner. :/ Some people have a harder time expressing feelings and affection than others. Just keep asking for what you need. Hopefully she is willing to work on it, even if it won't happen all at once.

I have told her many of times and I've been waiting for the last year and a half but nothing has changed
@ivoryMap7368
Then maybe this isn't the right relationship for you?
@confusedRaven6140 Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
Thanks for trying to support and help this member.
Your amazing, my friend.
@ivoryMap7368 First off, I want to thank you for sharing your story, with us.
Second, have tried talking to, your partner, and told them, your feelings?
Thirdly, Maybe see out some support from one of our, many listeners here at 7cups.
I hope this is helpful.
@Happy900
Yes I have told her how I feel many times and I have talk to a listener about it either they never answer me or all I get is leave her
@ivoryMap7368
Well... I just don't think there are other solutions. Either she changes something (which you say she's been unwilling or unable to do), you accept things as they are (which sounds like it's unfulfilling for you) or you end the relationship. I know it's not what you want to hear, but those are pretty much the only options that I can think of. :/
@confusedRaven6140
Thank you for your advice I explained to her how I felt today and she hasn't responded I asked her last night if I could spend time with her this weekend and she stopped texting back I know that I need to let her go but I love her and if I could let her go then was it really love that I had for her
@ivoryMap7368
Honestly... I felt that way about my ex for a long time. I was almost afraid to move on because then had my love even been real? But I met someone recently. And I realised that I could love someone else without it invalidating what I had felt before. I still... care about my ex. I genuinely hope he is well. But I don't want him in my life anymore. And that fear of moving on was a lie.
@Happy900 seek,typo.
I know how you feel man. I know it hurts. But you need to get out.
@confusedRaven6140
I can't until she tells me it's over cause she is all I want
@ivoryMap7368
Then ask her straight up if you must. But I'm telling you from experience, it will only bring you suffering if you stay. And even if she says yes now, it will not last. I'm sorry, I know it sucks.
@confusedRaven6140
I love you and I'm in love with you and I don't want anyone else and that will never change I feel like you don't care if we talk or see each other I understand that I have done alot of things that hurt you in the past and that it is going to take along time for me to earn your trust back and I understand that I have been doing everything I can to show you that I've changed I'm going to give you space and if the day comes that you are ready to talk to me and spend time with me I'll be here I'm tired of it only being me that does it so when you want to really be with me and show that I mean something to you I'll be here I can't keep doing it all and never receiving anything from you I do love you I need you to show me that I matter to you more then you have been. I sent that to her yesterday and she never replied back
@ivoryMap7368
I'm sorry 😞
She’s not taking your feelings seriously or treating you well. You deserve better and there IS better out there

A tiger was walking through the jungle when he came upon a lion trapped in a net! ‘The lion shouted to the tiger - Please help me! I got trapped in this net and desperately want to get free!’
The tiger quickly used his teeth to tear a hole in the net and allowed the lion to escape.
The next day, the tiger was surprised to come again upon the lion trapped in the net in the exact same location! The lion shouted - ‘Please help me, I’m trapped in this net and desperately want to be free!’ So again the tiger used his teeth to tear a hole in the net and the lion was once again free.
On the third day, the tiger was not at all surprised to find the lion trapped again in the net in that exact same location. He again heard the lion’s familiar plea -‘Please help me! I’m trapped in this net and desperately need to get free!’
This time however, the tiger merely stood very still, deep in thought. Then, as the tiger walked away he heard the lion shouting - ‘Come back! Aren’t you going to help me?! I’m trapped in this net and desperately need to be free!’
The tiger paused and replied simply: -
‘Your desire to be trapped in that net outweighs your desire to be free. I cannot truly free you from that net because it is YOU who is putting yourself in that trap. In truth, it is not the net that restrains you - You are trapped by your own desire to be trapped… Therefore, only you can truly set yourself free.’
