How do I get out of the friend zone
Some backstory before I begin. This is anonymous so I feel comfortable sharing more than most of my friends know about me. My last date/romantic relationship was about 3 and a half years ago. The relationships were not good. In this time I had dated 3/4 women if you count one date as dating. The first girl I had dated was great.we had fun lost in common and always had chemistry. We ended healthy and parted ways after we disagreed on things in our relationship. The second girl was where it went dark. I was unwilling to have sex with her very soon into the relationship. And we dated for about 6 months. Despite our relationship feeling like it was progressing she now didn't want to sleep together and I found out she had been cheating on me for a long time. The third girl I wouldn't sleep with in the first month of our relationship and she slept with a guy we met earlier that day. The last one was honestly the homerun.all of these happened in less than a year. The last girl went out with me we had an awesome date totally hit it off and even put a second date on the calendar.later that week about a day before our second date I got super dumped because her crush asked her out. For three and a half years the idea of dating sucked. I had no self confidence and physical confidence. But I've been friends with this girl, well call her Ronnie. And all of a sudden I can't get her out of my head. We hung out and started talking about what we wanted in life and I'll admit I fell so hard. I have always found her attractive but like I said dating was totally off the table. Her sister has told me that she only thinks of me as a friend and it's a disappointing feeling. We have an amazing connection and I haven't felt like this about anyone ever so I need advice. How do I get rid of these feelings or ask her out. Either answer is welcome TLDR: fell super hard for someone I am friends with and can't get them out of my head. They only think of me as a friend.how do stop feeling for them or get them to feel for me.
Just be brutally honest. I can imagine how much you've reserved yourself and finally finding the one that makes you feel great, wanna let that one pass by? But just a tip, add that you like her while having a deep long conversation. Tell Ronnie not to judge you, I don't want this to affect our friendship. And shoot. You may never know what she feels unless you shoot your shot. Best of luck🌚
