Hey @konn95, welcome to the community!

It is natural to feel upset when someone- a potential date ghosts us for no good reason known to us, specially when things are going great.

While I understand the self questioning, I'd also like to assure you that, Often times it's not a "me" problem, rather a "them" thing, I do hope you find some good, stable and supportive companionship soon. ❤

Hi dear. When it comes to dating, unfortunately it often happens that you are ghosted. And it also happens when we haven't done anything "wrong". As the other listener also wisely said, it's more about them than you, it's about their fear of opening up and confronting others. We may have made mistakes, but if the other person isn't willing to communicate with us, it's not worth it. When someone ghosts you, the problem is not you. Keep dating, keep trying to build connections with people. Don't let these people's poor behavior make you insecure and vulnerable. Take care and good luck.

honestly bro im in the same boat rn, most the girls i have talked to within the last month have ghosted me. however, you just gotta keep shooting your shot, i missed 10 shots, but landed 1. and ill tell ya what, the one shot i made got me to forget about all the misses. granted this is with hu and not dating, but it is the same principle. just keep shooting your shot and you will eventually land one with someone worth while. i know it may feel like its your fault, but you cant focus on the failure…keep your head up high bro and always go in with a positive attitude!!

and too add something:

it is totally normal to feel sad after getting ghosted, if you didnt get sad over it, then that shows you had no passion/excitement for it. like i said just keep your head up, everything happens for a reason (at least thats what i believe, but i think it could apply to most people too)

@konn95 I know the feeling. I was just ghosted by a girl I really like last week. We were having great conversation on the phone and texting back and forth. Then she suddenly stopped responding. My friend says that she probably met someone else she liked and didn't want to hurt my feelings because she doesn't deal well with confronting. Being ghosted hurts more than if she told me on the phone that she met someone else.
