Interested or Not?

I have been seeing this guy I met online for about 3 months. And in this short span we have met some of our friends and family which was unplanned it just so happened.

I can't tell if he is interested in me or just for sex. We do hang out outside the bedroom by going for dinners and concerts but we don't call it dates or anything. However, we do prefer to stay in because we are more of homebodies but we also want to save money.

On Sunday we both opened up about our past relationship and discussed what worked and didn't. The good parts and the bad parts of them. We also said what we will avoid for our next relationship.

We text almost everyday and when we do the convo doesn't really die off it keeps going. He doesn't make any moves when we are out and about but he lets me link arms and lay on his shoulder. He's super supportive with me about my work such as if I had a stressful day he would try to make me feel better as I do for him.

I know his last relationship it moved fairly quick as they dated for 1.5 years and 6months in was living together. Soooo I’m not sure if he is taking it slow because of that and because we both just got out of relationship in April. But we discussed that we both checked out of the relationship long before the breakup happened

People told me to just ask him or tell him how I feel but I feel like it’s wayyy too soon and I’m afraid of his answer
