Is he losing interest
I dated a guy for a week, and then I moved to another city. we stayed in contact because it’s possible that he might move to my city one day. Our texts became shorter and now he only texts me once a day. But his texts are really short… is he losing interest?

It's really hard to say if he's losing interest because the length of his current texts may be due to several reasons. If it is truly bothering you that they are shorter than usual, it would help to check-in with him to see how things are going for him and if anything has changed.
Try not to stress or overthink! Speak to him about your feelings and ask him to be 100% honest. It’s possible he is unable to cope with the person he likes being in another city. As a result, he’s possibly distancing himself in order to protect his heart/feelings. My advice may be completely wrong but you will only know if you speak to him.
