How do you deal with jealousy in a relationship? I always feel like I’m comparing myself to other women on social media (and in real life) who I think my partner would find attractive. I know it’s unhealthy, but I don’t know how to get out of this.

You have done step one .... knowing it is unproductive and not realistic.........

unless your partner shows you a reason....... looking at everyone else as an adversary may mean you are not confident in yourself or your relationship....

perhaps start there if it is in yourself you can commit to be the best you can be and believe me when i say when i went through something similar and gained my confidence it made changes inside and out i look better to not only myself had plenty of compliments.........

in your relationship have you discussed this jealousy thing with your partner perhaps they can reassure you or help with you getting over this.

The world is filled with attractive people. Yes, the simple reality that we all need to embrace is that there’s someone out there more attractive than we are. And wealthier than we are, smarter than we are, funnier than we are, more successful than we are… the list could go on indefinitely 😂

But living in perpetual fear and insecurity over this reality, and obsessing about it, is just going to make you miserable. If your partner is going to stray the moment someone more attractive is available, then he wasn’t committed to you to begin with. It’s really that simple. Faithfulness is a decision to choose the person you love, over every other person, in every circumstance. Truly committed partners don’t care that social media is filled with attractive people, that other girls are flirting with them. It’s irrelevant. The only thing that matters is if they choose you in any given moment. That’s it.

There’s never any guarantees. In every relationship, with anyone, anywhere, there’s always a possibility that your partner could betray you. That they could choose someone else. There’s nothing to prevent them, nothing that is ‘forcing’ anyone anywhere to remain faithful to their partner except their own conscious decision to remain faithful. All you can do is be the best partner that you can be, and be the best person that you can be. Choose your partner carefully, and take the time to get to know them thoroughly before putting too much trust and faith in them.

And in the end - they will choose you every time; or they won’t. But thats not something you can control or decide for them.
