Left on read

Hi so I have a question and I'm sure it's just an anxiety thing but this is my first relationship so I want to know if this is normal or a cause for concern. So I'm a 22 year old female dating a 27 year old male. He has a very demanding job which has him on the road most days and I typicaly see him once per week but lately he's been getting off work really late so it's been more like every other. He also only gets one day off per month. But the past few days he's been leaving me on read a lot. Typicaly I doesn't bother me I just assume he's on the road and read my message (Because the car reads it to him) and he'll answer when he gets done but he's been doing it a lot at night. Typixaly he gets off work around 10 or 11 pm and will play video games for an hour and will go to bed. He basically plugs his phone in and doesn't touch it after he gets home and it's his decompression time. But he's been reading my messages and not responding to them in the evening and the next morning will compleatly disregard it and say good morning. Mind you it's typicaly humdrum stuff like how's your day been or just typicall daily stuff but it just makes me concerned that he's pulling away. He's been super stressed with work so i can understand if it's just stress or depression but I'm anxious and he kind of just brushes it off when i ask saying he just got distracted with his games and then went to sleep.
