What do I do?
So me and my boyfriend have been together going on 4 years, and it was a little rocky at first but eventually we smoothed it all out. Everything was great he actually showed he cared about me, but recently things haven't been good. My health has taken intercourse off the table, not permanently, but since then he doesn't spend any time with me. Sex is more important than me and I'm hurting over this. All I can do is cry. And when I tell him how I feel he says he understands, but does nothing to show me he still cares. I love him, but idk what to do. And even if we broke up I have nowhere to go right now. How do I fix this?
@Babylonia9824 Have you talked about alternative options to satisfy him in other ways like toys or having a third person join you?
Not really. I mean my problem is that I've lost value because I can't do what he wants and I don't think that's right. He's basically avoiding me because we can't have sex right now, and that's messed up.
I'm sorry, that's definitely demoralizing. He should be showing up for you no matter what. Its hard to be four years deep into the relationship and have to see this side of him. Maybe give him some more time to see if he mans up and accepts the situation and continues to care for you as a person and not just an object for his pleasure. If he doesn't make a significant change maybe try couples therapy or at the end of the day do what you have to do for you to feel valued and happy
