Where to go from here?
This might sound superficial.. But need some input and advice from the community. Started seeing someone new a few months ago, who just came out of a relationship. Didn't bother me too much at the start, as I wasn't looking for anything serious at that point. As time passed, things escalated really quickly. There is genuine connection and affection in the relationship, and I considered something serious at that point. However, just as the switch flipped for me, was told that it had to end as the other party still needs time to heal from the previous relationship. It really hurt at that point for me, however I genuinely want the other party to heal. There is optimism in my mind that over time, we could still rekindle what was on hold. Yet realistically, it is over. What should I do? Exercise patience or move on.

You're very wise and kind to let them go to heal first eventhough it hurts you deeply.
Sounds like you have a doubt, whether its worth the patience or not. Sometimes, we just have to keep going and see what best to do day by day. Sometimes, it is best not to make any decision until things are clearer. What do you think?.
