Advice or time?
it's going to sound petty, but I don't have friends
I had people I talked to, like my classmates, and people who occasionally checked on me, but they still weren't a essential part of my life.
Next year I'm going to be in college, alone. I'll be ending High school with 0 friends, I don't even have friends online, im always alone.
Is it me the problem?? am I a weirdo?? too depressed?? not funny??? or it's just that I'm not interesting?
I have so many questions, I don't want to think that it's never the problem, but I do, I feel like I'll never have a group of people who cares for me deeply, or that I care for them deeply too, I feel trapped without hope
Do I just need to give time to the time? Mayb I need to be patient about it... I don't know, but since quarantine, I've been feeling a uncontrollable loneliness :(

Hi Blue, a lot of people are in that situation, as for myself I'm down to 1 close friend(by choice tho) and a few non-close friends online.
I'm really outgoing now but at my core I'll always be an introvert, I don't think "just waiting" is the best way to go, that would be like saying "well... I speak a language and I want to socialize, so that should be good enough to mas friends... eventually", but no, socializing is a skill and it can be improved on, could list for example: how good are you at approaching new people?, level of confidence?, How perceptive are you?, Asking the right questions to get to know someone?, How proactive are you? How good are your listening skills? How to keep a conversation going?, How empathetic are you?, How to build rapport?, How to handle disagreements/conflict? Why would you be a valuable friend?, the list goes on and on.
I suggest reading or listening to: How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie and Belong: Find Your People, Create Community, and Live a More Connected Life by Radha Agrawal(I haven't read the last one but it was recommended to me).
If you bring value to others, basic social skills and a bit of effort + opportunity are all you need to make friends, and not only friends but better social relationships of any kind.
@BlueGxrl3 i have friends but i idon't really trust people enough to hang out with them from my experience friends can break your heart to they can be toxic as well if your not careful who you choose or let into your life.
Hey, I'm in a similar situation as you, although I have "friends" outside school I'm not really close to them and in school I'm practically alone apart from 1 close friend.
I have given up in making friends in my school but next year I'll be going to university as well so I'll try to put myself out there more. I see university as a fresh start and I hope you do as well.
I guess you should try and socialise more instead of waiting for someone to talk to you, I have social anxiety so talking to new people has never been easy for me but I think if I had done that in school I would have made more friends.
@BlueGxrl3 I feel like i'm in a similar situation. I have one online friend that i'm close to though + my sister, but beside those there are none. I'm on a gap year and have had a few short conversations with some old classmates, but they always end as soon as they begin. I didn't even feel that close to those few friends i had at school, i did hang out with them a few times outside school but i always felt like i didn't fit in so i stopped spending time with them. I'm starting college soon too, talking to people is a little hard to me because it makes me anxious but i will do my best to finally gain close friends. I hope you can too view college as a new start too, just try to talk to people you find interesting (definitely am not the best person to say that but ahaha). I hope you will find close friends
