Another wishy-washy "Friend" is causing drama

Hi, another former "Friend" is stirring up trouble about me to another friend behind my back. This person and I have not talked in nearly two years and I have not talked to him in a while because he has seemed to act like a friend to my friend's face and then tell people he's "Mad at me for talking about my past too much." Based on my observations with me, he seems to do with all his friends. One minute he will invite them to do things and then the next, he will find negative qualities in them. Yet it's okay for him to do these things himself..

Though he had also been complaining about my friend behind his back, he invited him to get together with him for his birthday last night. Since being invited, he has been telling my friend he doesn't want to be my friend anymore because "I am being mean to him," and that he's tired of my crap.

Truth? I stopped contacting him when I find out that he had stabbed me in the back after I was nothing but nice to him. I also attempted to be supportive of his situation. I even tried to help him make some improvements in his life.

When I heard about this, I am mad at him and texted him about it and yet he never had the courtesy to get back with me. I am tired of crap and his drama.
