CAN A BROKEN FRIENDSHIP BE FIXED?

Honestly, this is something I?ve really been trying to figure out. So now I wanna know what you all feel about this one. Every friendship has it?s ups and downs and that?s actually how it works. Friendship means caring about them and always wanting to see them happy, yea I know that. But what if you?re just trying to keep them happy? You can?t go on doing that right? you deserve to be happy too, isn?t it? It?s hard to see an amazing friendship drifting apart, but it?s harder to realize that none of you is doing anything about it! If it meant so much why are you both just letting it go? It?s already messed up, so what worse could it get? If you really just miss talking to each other like old times, don?t you think it?s worth one last shot?

P.S - I'm pretty much relatable into this! Stay strong!

Broken friendships CAN be fixed. Sometimes it just takes time. My friend really hurt me. I was so mad at what she did we didnt talk for almost 2 years. But things got fixed between us.

I write because I am in the process of losing a friend whom is also a coworker. I put in alot of time, effort and trust into this relationship. Me and my family even started going to this friends church and I gave this friend a guitar for worship. This friend even inspired me to be a father. Now upon returning from paternity leave this friend is ignoring me and won't acknowledge my messages. Will not even say hello at church; thinking of going to another. I am really saddened by this and it gives me anxiety- especially when this person arrives everymorning and greets others but not me. Even worse- this person does not seem to notice my feelings. Thanks for reading and any words offered.

It can be fixed, but it takes patience, time, and effort. I had a rough time with my best friend and we broke off our friendship for a while, but I eventually had him listen to what I had to say and now we are talking again. We aren't nessesarily best friends again, but I'm working on it. So the key to fixing a friendship is communication. Communication is key! Talk to them and try to figure things out together. It gets better, I promise. And also it takes effort to fix a broken friendship. You have to work hard for what you want, so take the time and effort to start fresh and let them know how much your friendship means to them and they will listen. If they won't listen to you or are just rude to you when trying to fix things, then they just aren't worth it. To everyone on here with a broken friendship, good luck. It gets better I promise 😃.
