I am feeling very low and worthless

I am an engineering graduate . A topper of my batch .

And after completing my graduation I applied for masters but failed in entrance exam 😭.

I am so disappointed that i feel worthless. It's a shame for me isn't it that despite of being topper I failed.

My parents can't stop getting ashamed of my existence .they say I wasted their money.

They say I must have passed my exams through cheating 😭.

They can't stop comparing me with my czn who is getting ahead of her life without any failure.

And here I am encountering failures on daily basis.

I have lost hope in everything.

I don't feel motivated.

I feel I won't be able to get any job

My mother says that I should look for a job at local elementary school rather than dreaming of pursuing mtech.

She says she is ashamed of me😭.

As if my hardwork and achievements from past 4years have gone through gutters.

Right now I am feeling myself in a similar situation of matemorphosis story by Franz Kafka..

My parents who were proud of me till Morning are now ashamed of me.

I am tired of my current life ..

I wish to run away ...faraway ....so that I can get some peace....

😭😭😭😭😭😭

I feel you, I get exactly how you're feeling right now but don't forget that this your life, your own path, we're not perfect and we'll never be. It wasn't meant for you and that's okay, don't be too harsh on yourself. You're here and I'm proud of because that means you really didn't lose all of your hope. Keep fighting, you got this.

Can you try again? Can you use those skills to look for a different kind of job or similar that you might be interested in? Can you maybe start working and then maybe pursue again at a later time? Please don't feel like you are out of options because there is plenty you can do, you just can't see that right now because you are suffering and in pain. Please don't let your parents or failing at this exam or what other people say get to you. There is always another solution or option you can find. Don't let thi sget you down, I can sense you are still young, and I am sure you will have a birhgt future ahead of you. You sound like a perfectionist, and hard worker. You will find what you are looking for. If you work at the elementary school, there is nothing wrong with that! You might end up liking it!? Who knows! Give yourself a chance, life is about learning and exploring, it's not the destination but the journey! Hang in there! You will be ok!!

The trick here is to work smart, I fail all my college exams, and tests everything but when the time comes to really show it, in the finals and the decicive tests I just bliw everyone away. Ignore(i promise this is the best you can do for yourself), everyone that suggests you can't do good. Work at a pace you're comfortable with, dont focus on the indecisive tests because if you dont succeed in these petty tests then they will demotivate you for the main ones. Instead focus on what's really important and always believe that no matter what the hardship you'll always come out on top. I heard a lot of hate since i purposely failed my exams, people said that I wasnt serious and all but in reality i was quietly working hard for the main objectives. I ingored all hate and did what i was comfortable with. Instead of getting demotivated, i used this to my motivation, "I'll make them all see who isnt serious when the time comes". And today I have acceptances from four countries in universities ranked within the top 50 (Caltech, purdue, Kings College, Uni of Manchester, BUAA, SNU to name a few). Believe in yourself, dont lose hope, you can do it !!!

Heyyy... Hi...

The first thing... It is just one exam you could not clear. This one exam does not define you. Your entire career defines you. You worked hard. You are now working hard. I know its hard to make peace with yourself when you know you did best in what you did but the results are unexpected. Okay let me tell you my story. I used to think jusst like you. Exactly like you few years back. Trust me when I say this. It is just a matter of time. You will get what you want. For time being just do not pay attention to what they are saying and focus on yourself. May be if you want you can go to another attempt. Just be calm and make decision. Dont give up if you wanna pursue higher studies. Things take time sometimes but they worth the patience and effort. And your parents are also not serious at this moment. May be they are also hearbroken at this time. I am not saying the way they are expressing is correct but for few days untill you get a hold on yourself. It qould be better not to focus on what they are saying because it will hurt you the most. Hope my words comforted you a little bit.

P.S: Are you from Asia? 😅 Sorry if you are not. I am and this kind scenarioes are very easily found in our continent.
