I am not ready to cross paths with my former friend
Recently, I wrote about a toxic friend and I am starting to accept that she's a jerk.
Ironically:
I happened to be at a grocery store in their area when I crossed paths with her and her husband last Friday evening. However, I was inside when I spotted them walking outside. So I kept my distance but went outside as they were walking back to a sidewalk that I usually use to get back to the train station. So, I decided not to go anywhere near them. Still, I ended up losing my temper and shouting things at them before going another direction to catch the bus and talk with my counselor and some other friends instead. Believe me, I felt really bad about yelling at her and did not contact them any further. Instead, I am leaving her and her husband alone.
Hello summer. I'm proud of you for recognizing that she's not a good person for you to be around. Especially the negative reactions she brings out of you. I know it won't be easy but it will get better
