I have a feeling that people hate me
Hello everyone, I’m 16 years old. Ever since I was born, I have been a very withdrawn and boring person. I was very weak at communicating with the people around me and, if I had such a situation, I would get an anxiety attack. People around me generally avoid talking to me if they don't have to, because I'm very uncomfortable with others. My parents are aware of my situation and are trying to help me, but they quarrel regularly, so they can't agree on even the smallest detail. I really don't know what to do and any advice is welcome. Thanks 😊
P. S. Sorry for my bad English

Hello, nice to hear from you. Sounds like you have a hard time being able to communicate with people. Anxiety attacks are the worst. It can be really annoying seeing your parents quarrel but it sounds like a good thing that they agreed to be there for you. Have you ever thought of seeing a professional about anxiety attacks? It's understandable if not too, just trying to know the situation better.
Hello “very withdrawn and boring person” ! Just by leading with that in your intro speaks volumes about your mindset. Would you put that on your resume when your job hunting or college application someday if you go? Probably not.
I started out this way too and let me tell you self hate can grow into self injury. Look how you treat things in life that you don’t care about..like say a video game you just had to have…you play the crap out of it but soon enough it’s a drink coaster…then it’s got peanut butter smears and scratches on it, finally it’s under the bed somewhere forgotten. Love yourself enough to treat yourself like the amazing creation that you are, imagine your limitless potential at 16 and stop self hate. There is no difference between I suck and I’m good, your brain will believe both statements. Your stuck focusing inward right now and the quarreling at home can make your safe place feel crushing…turn your focus outward and try to connect with someone in your life that could use some help. For me I saw my neighbor struggling with his yard so I walked over and said hey man want some help? As I picked up sticks and raked leaves my thoughts about being nothing faded, his happiness to have a helper made me feel good inside. There’s something about helping others that can snap you back to reality and bring you some much needed self worth. Can you think of anyone? a grandparent that’s wondering where you are? call em and say hey need help with anything. might end up making a few dollars, getting some good food, and a taste of that warm feeling.
Practice self love every day as stupid as it feels write down positive things and read them, you don’t have to believe them yet, just get used to letting your brain here the polar opposite of what you have been flooding it with. “i can do hard things” “I’m more than the sum of my problems” “I’m a good person” “good things will come my way”. Think of ways to make sure your brain is watered with positive thoughts every single day. When you feel a negative thought creeping in just return to your statements, take a deep breath and read them like a monk. I grew up in a dark place, i treated my brain and body terribly and for what? what did I gain what did i prove? absolutely nothing. It’s time buddy, today, stop the madness and regardless of your home life that maybe you can’t change right now, start caring about yourself because I don’t know you but I do and I can promise you that if you keep talking crap about yourself you will be at the mercy of a very hard world vs striving to build yourself up and controlling your destiny because it’s 100% totally up to you. Just tell your brain to shut up and listen rather than doing all the talking! lol
