I shut down someone who was not respectful

Over the course of two years, I have been acquainted with an adult disabled man who sometimes hangs out with my friends. Though he can be very sweet, he is also very immature and has a temper. He also tends to throw a fit and overreact easily. Plus other people have told me that he tends to use them for money. Therefore, I have decided to distance myself from him and only be polite when we cross paths.

Anyway, he has tried to add me on social media multiple times and even though I had blocked him. This morning, he tried to add me again today. So I sent him a private message telling him that I was not interested in being his friend. I also said that I didn't think we were a good pair and that we would just bring out the worst in each other.

He got mad and started manipulating me by calling me names. Additionally, he said that he hates me. All the time, I remained calm and completely disarmed him with comebacks. In fact, I completely shut him down

I said

1. Your words don't mean anything to me but I am a valuable person

2. I don't have time to argue with you

3. I don't care about your opinion

4. I neither have the time nor the crayons to try and it explain it to you

5. We are not talking until you calm down

6. As I said, I am a valuable person who is worthy of respect
