Online friend
Me and my boyfriend have a few friends we play with (online friends) and one of them started behaving really weirdly and cold towards my boyfriend after they had an argument and after (the friend) said that everything is okay between them and that they can talk anytime. My boyfriend right after declared that they can talk and play the next day and the guy just ignored him, sent things to our group chat and refuses to talk personally to him.
It could be because he has some worse day or something but I'm worried because It's affecting my boyfriend and making him sad. And when he's sad I'm also sad..
I try to remind him and myself that the guy is not a real friend but just a gaming buddy and he can do whatever he wants. However, after talking everyday for few months It's hard to get used to the new situation. After trying to make our friendship works.. it feels like it's just one-sided and It's a hard pill to swallow.
@willingFig5196 hmm yeah I had a few online friendships but never really worked out for me I had to end one last month due to his mental health scaring me away he was kinda my rock but I am learning to open up to other people dunno if this was any help but for some reason its hard to maintain online friendships or at least some good luck.
Sending hugs. 🤍
Hey, I hear you and I agree with you. Not all online friendships work. Some of my past friendships have been quite a mess. I would like you to tell him and yourself that you guys matter. Your feelings matter too and no one is allowed to mess with them.
If he's still that concerned then he can have a conversation with his friend openly or you can do it too if it's okay with both of you. It would give you that clarity. Well, if he keeps avoiding you guys then you can ask that friend if he's okay or not. If it still continues then it's time for you to move on. 🤍
It can be difficult to move on from your friendships that you respect but it's also important to know that you're as important as them. Your life and happiness matters. You can ensure your boyfriend that you're there for him. Always. 🌼
Having your own people can also give you a lot of support. I know that place can't be filled by someone else if it's connected to emotions but you need to know that you're worth that love and care you want to give to others. :)🤍✨
Love.
