So to buy gifts for someone is a tricky thing. To buy something they will personally like or enjoy would be better than buying a "generic gift" item right?
and even better than a thoughtful bought gift would be a handmade one right? Especially when its for people close to you who would be appreciative that you got them something in the 1st place.
as far as handmade stuff goes, im not good at arts n crafts. Guess I could follow a tutorial or step by steps but again, imnot that creative or artsy. I am a decent baker though. Just a baker, still cant cook for sh*t. haha.
Im a guy, 20s. so as far as handmade gifts go, baked goods is all i can do.
so my question is would people like that? especially girls LOL (I am a guy. what am i gonna do)
will they perceive me as softor not a real man or something weird like that? I mean, i know its 2015 and foddstuff isnt the domain of women only but the sentiments may still be there in some people?
i wannabake (just cos i like it) and to give it as gifts would be a bonus. is that acceptable. or a "too feminine" thing to do?
Home made gifts are always nice. If you can find a way to make it more personal that always makes it better. For example if your g/f favorite breakfast is crepes but she is not able to find a restraunt in town which makes them, it would be perfect for you to make them for her as a gift.
There is nothing wrong with men giving home made gifts, it shows you cared enough to put time and energy into the gift.
there's nothing wrong with a guy baking something for hisgf! i think that's super sweet and she would appreciate the sentimental gesture. i agree with karen, if you personalize it and make something relatable to her, that would be awesome! good luck!
