Should I send message?

I have this best friend I’ve known since kindergarten, but for awhile it’s felt pretty one sided. If I don’t reach out I don’t hear from her, and sometimes she will just not text back. Of course I sent a childhood friend meme, and she ended up reaching out, and invited me to her bachelorette party. The party was mediocre, and just felt like my friend didn’t care much to catch up. We ended up leaving the cottage early, and asked if I could head to her house, and she didn’t seem excited about it, and I was drinking, and she didn’t even grab a drink kinda making things awkward. Her wedding is next year, and I live so far away I just don’t want to spend all this money to travel to her wedding, and be surrounded by a bunch of ppl I barely know, and I just doubt she’d come all this way for me. So I want to send her this message, but worried because her wedding is coming up, and I just don’t want to ruin her wedding. Hey girl, hope you’re doing well. I want to clarify our friendship a bit. For awhile it’s felt a little one sided on my end. I feel if I don’t reach out I don’t hear from you. I understand that we have a lot going on, and I live so far away, and I’d completely understand if our friendship has reached it’s course. We are forever changing, and growing! I just want to hear your thoughts, and where I stand in your life.

@Mre605

Hey it's been a month since you posted this. I hope you're okay, whether you talked to this friend or not.

Honestly it sounds to me that she only invited you to her bachelorette party cause you shared that childhood meme. Would she invite you if you didn't reach out first?

If you have a feeling that you should text her about your friendship and to resolve everything, go for it. I'm someone who always needs a closure when ending a friendship so I understand you. I can't just let it fade away naturally. I like to know exactly where I stand with everyone.
