what if you and your best friend both love the same guy?

its because you see I like this guy and I liked him for two years and i fell in love with him but my best friend told me a few months ago she likes him to and she didn"t want to tell me because she knew i really liked him but i told her its fine and i got over him but i didnt and like she always tells me how much she loves him and they sit next to each other in math and ss but they dont really talk and its pretty awkward between them and she said shes really shy around him but like i dont think hes really into her like i think she knows kind of that i still love him to and she said shell step back for me but she already did and i want to step back and support her to but i cant and its really hard but i really want to tell her the truth
