3 more weeks with in laws, I am crying every day
My Mother-in-law, Grandmother in law, Sister in law and her children all came to visit us. They didn’t see each other for a few years, because we all live in different continents. I understand that they miss my husband and want to spend some time all together. But these days seem endless for me, it’s only one week past, and we have 3 weeks more. My husband is working during the week, and I am pregnant with our 2 child, and can’t leave somewhere else with 2 years old son and being 6 months pregnant, considering also that I can’t drive and it’s really hot in our country. I wake up everyday by counting days in my head. I want those 3 weeks to pass as quick as possible, but feel so helpless during the day checking the time again and again. I don’t have a lot in common with my in laws, I don’t like the way they talk to each other, it seems rude for me, so I just try to don’t talk much with them. I think they also don’t feel comfortable with me, because of this situation, but I rather don’t talk about anything, than hear my MIL criticising everything and everybody. So long story short, I think I just wanted to write down all of this stuff in my head somewhere) and if someone has any idea of how to spend 3 weeks as quickly as possible, I would be really thankful)

I feel for you that sounds like an awful long time to spend as you describe.
whenever i am with others whom i do not enjoy .... i ask questions for example about your husbands childhood ...generally in a group they will all add a bit and reminiscing they tend to remember funny or good things as opposed to constant complaints.....
keeping them busy chatting about memories can take up a bit of time....
