Anybody has a narsissistic father?
What are your emotions around it? What happened to your relationship with him?
I have the toughest time because I find it hard to break the core belief that you are supposed to be close to your father. Also, that you are supposed to love your father. There are just so many things about him that I can't approve of. I feel my childhood was horrible. It wasn't like that for my brother. My father can go to any extent to win. He just has to prove that he is superior by hurting me especially.
I have no one to discuss this with.

Relationships with families are complicated.
Especially with parents.
In an ideal world yes, we love our fathers.
But we can have a mixture of feelings.
And that's what's hard.
We want to see the good, so we continue to search for it.
Him being your father, doesn't justify, mistreatment of any kind.
I get just how difficult it is to navigate varying emotions 💚
