My girlfriend just broke up with me, I’m 16 years old and I’m a female. Me and my girlfriend were long distance, and we knew each other for 5 years, but her mental health is taking a dive and she broke up with me over it so she can get better and I don’t know what to do, I don’t know how to handle this or what to do. I need help.

@Brooklyn411

hello there brooklyn. i’m sorry to hear about the end of your relationship. dealing with a breakup, whether it’s platonic or romantic can be very difficult.

you mentioned that your now ex girlfriend broke things off because she’s dealing with some issues mentally. sometimes the best thing you can do is give them space if they requires it and if you feel it’s best, send comforting words their way. maybe doing this could even make you feel a tad better knowing that you’re potentially helping them.

i recommend that, with all this going on, please remember to take care of yourself as well 💕✨ wishing you the best of luck with everything 🫶🏽

Hi! I'm sorry to hear about your situation. I have been through a similar experience (but I was the one that broke up with my s/o at the time). Breakups are hard no matter what, especially ones that end on good terms and you still have feelings for the other person. It'll get better over time. For the time being, you can focus on yourself and improving your mindset.

Hope everything works out!

Don’t be too sad. All will be well at the end. Trust God and live well.
