I'm so confused about how a guy that I was dating randomly ghosted me then he added me back then blocked me so I don't know why I keep trying to reach out.

I agree with other poster sometimes we settle instead of cutting our losses ... a bad relationship is NOT better then NO relationship.
Maybe you fear the feeling he left and you would rather be the one to call it over. the whole blocking and unblocking ghosting etc shows immaturity do not waste your time in this person.
