Confusion and long distance
I have a long distance partner and I'm worried he doesn't love me as much as I love him. I picture a future with him. I was supposed to go see him this weekend. He say he's having a hard time so l wanted to be there for him. The 16th is the 6 year anniversary of his father's passing. I've replanned my trip for the 30th-4th. We're supposed to start looking at apartments together but he seems to brush that off when I remind him. Today he said he doesn't want to be long distance but he's also not giving much input when I bring up the apartment hunting. I love him with my whole heart but I'm worried we're going in the wrong direction. Not to mention he's easily put on alert if I mention male friends. He has female friends and I'm fine with that. Note: He's 6 years older and divorced, she cheated on him the entire relationship. I'm worried I've done something at some point and I can't pin point what. I'm worried he doesn't love me like I love him. He can get very quiet sometimes and close himself off, the distance does not help. I’m worried there might be someone else.

Has this has always been a long-distance thing? Have you spent time together in person?
I have heard of more than a few LDR that things faded when they were in person. Some people get sort of cold feet especially after a bad relationship has ended.
If you are moving to where he is, you are making a new life and planning and talking about it is fun and exciting about what if .... doing it becomes more details and more what if things are not as rosy as we planned.
