I really like this guy and I have no idea how to properly approach him. Anytime we talk or hangout all I do is ask him about him self. I'm trying to show intrest in the smallest way possible but I don't think it's getting anywhere. Any advice on how I could take the next step?

Some boys/ men do not get these questions are ways to show interest. honestly many women do not get these clues either.
I find a after a bit if they do not get it maybe as other poster said a more direct approach is in order. it is ok to ask him out or such even if he does not feel same way you will know.
