I've been dating someone for two months they live 4 hours away but are happy to move towards me. However they are in financial debt and haven't set up a pension yet. But they also have no work ethic and often call in sick to work. They also mentioned they didn't like my friends and im just wondering if this is a big enough red flag to pull away.

Any advice would be great

@littlePeach3619

If this person has little or no work ethic and are not on same page with finances it can be a MAJOR problem.....   If relationship continues they may decide you can help with debt and pension issues....

may not be a way to stop seeing them but certainly a red flag that limits a future.

@littlePeach3619 I'd say have a conversation around your concerns and go from there.

@littlePeach3619,

quite a few red flags I'd say. You can decide to stay friends but wanting to move in so fast definitely is a major red flag to me.

you should definitely have a talk about this with your partner and address your concerns. if they don’t change, then the problem will only stay the same & it may be extremely difficult for you to handle. trust your feelings and if you don’t approve of their behavior, then it may be best to leave.
