Difficult mother, please help
My mother is very volatile and has recently called me a *** on two separate occasions. She gaslights me and takes no accountability for her behaviour. I even suggested we see a therapist but she made it clear that this was because I needed help and not her. I am 35 and because of a difficult financial situation I have been forced to move back home. This has been humiliating for me and my self esteem is struggling at the moment. The added stress of living with her is making me feel depressed. She is also making me doubt my reality of the situation. I am making plans to move out but this will take a few months until I can afford to.
Does anyone have any tips for how to survive this situation? Any answers would be much appreciated.

You had a setback, and you needed to move in to save up and get somethings together. That is never easy, and parents can be harder to deal with then we ever imagined in that situation. I guess if you can reframe it you will get through it easier.
Be thankful you have a place to stay and even with the insults or judgmental attitude some others have nowhere to go to get on their feet.
You may be stressed or humiliated but she might feel like she failed you or want to help but her way is not the help you want or need. She might be stressed as well as she had different routines before you moved back. Be patient with each other try to get to know her better. i think we miss a lot about our parents until it is too late. You can do this and it is not forever.
