Ever found love online?
I have never fallen in love with someone I just meet online, because I never felt that connection and never had that deep conservation. So honestly I don't have any story of my own but I would love to hear your story.

I am sorry I am not ready to actually share any of my stories, however...
I think that "falling in love online" is always tricky, because then we tend to fall in love with our imagination of that person rather than with the real human. Sometimes our imagination proves to be very close to the actual person, but sometimes... it's just this person idealistic imagination of herself or himself.
Online you never know if this person smells to you like a candy bar or like sour apples. Sometimes you can find a person writing beautifully, but their squeaky voice on the phone, messy look (or stories of a vomiting dog told on the very first date 😉) can ruin the entire impression.
And for a real relationship you need a complete, real person with not only a mind, but also a body (though some people nowadays tend to fall in love with artificial intelligence with no body, avatars or holographic images).
The best relationships of my life started online, but I would claim it more like a positive "system's error" than like a rule you can count on. But still I knew couples who had met online and have been long years together 😊
Most of young people probably do not know it, but before the internet era some (printed) local newspapers had something like a "lonely hearts" section, with advertisements of people who were off the mainstream (like: not going to dance clubs), not very lucky so far or shy, and needed to meet someone.
You have a point and you nailed it with this deep message, I hope other people too understand this. Because as far as I know, most online relationship are full of lies.

Thank you! To make a story more complete: I've had one or two situations when another person was quite fond of me judging by my writing, but said I was "lacking the edge" when met in the real life 😆 Maybe that's due to the fact I am a bit shy and prefer checking twice rather than breaking someone's boundaries. Or maybe it was just not the right match for me...
Well, in the 1970s so many men dropped dead falling in love with Barbara Streisand, hearing how she sang "A Woman in Love", but were surprised with her looks of a big nose ugly duckling 😉 On the other hand, 20 years later in one of David Lynch's movies a beautiful lady said to a monster: "You're not an Elephant Man. You're the Romeo!".
