Feeling insecure
Yesterday, I was talking to a guy I was getting to know. We were bonding really well and genuinely enjoying each other's company. At some point, we exchanged pictures. When I saw his, I was instantly attracted to him, which is rare for me, I don’t often feel physical attraction toward people, so it stood out. After I sent my pictures, he told me I looked cute and kind, but then added that I seemed to be on the chubbier side, which he considered a red flag. That comment completely caught me off guard.
I’m not upset with him or holding it against him for being honest, because physical attraction is important, and I respect that he’s clear about what he’s looking for and unwilling to compromise. However, it really shocked me that he described me as chubby, especially because I don’t see myself that way in my selfies. It’s also the first time anyone has ever called me chubby, and it’s been weighing on my mind. That one comment has made me feel insecure and has been affecting my self-esteem. I don’t know what to do

Wow....that was a very rude comment on his part ....but now you know up front more about who he is then hours of light conversation would have shown you. Maybe it is a maturity issue.
I have met a few people in person and online and did not find them attractive at first ..... until I saw the inside of who they were and once I looked again found them very attractive.
Do not take another persons opinion, bother you so much.......it was a sting short lived and not remembered later.
