Feels like I'm not missing my bf enough
Me and my bf are in a long distance relationship, he recently we've been together and it's been over a week since he left. We were unable to talk properly for few days and when we finally got good time to talk , we were discussing about planning our days routine etc he was looking sad turns out he felt that I'm not sad enough or missing him enough after being together all this while and I'm talking normally about daily routine and stuff.
Im generally not an expressive person and I do love him but I understand what he said , I feel guilty for not missing him enough, i dont understand why I wasn't reciprocating the same feelings, he said he missed me a lot but that day I was so normal and talking how we used to in our ldr , that he got ***
It feels like my fault but cannot understand why I'm like this
@lillylolly
I don't believe you don't miss him enough, maybe i'm wrong.. Just because someone is busy with their own life or just is not as sentimental or romantic as someone else doesn't mean your a bad person.
I don't like that you've been made to feel this way, i'm sure your quite caring. 🌲
@lillylolly
It's not as simple as you not caring enough and I don't think he has to question you 💛
You are simply used to distance , that's your normal, so it's natural for you to act as you did 💛

@lillylolly It seems as if maybe your boyfriend is feeling insecure. What do you think?
It looks to me like you were simply confident in the relationship, and you knew he would be back soon so you were able to relax despite his temporary absence. You should not have to suffer just to prove your love!
Do not be like me. I feel arguably severe anxiety whenever my boyfriend leaves the house. Especially if it is for more than an hour. I don't think this is healthy. Plus it sucks. I only mention this so you know I have experience in this situation.
You're allowed to be happy when he comes back to see you without feeling separation anxiety. This is okay and he should learn that you can love him without despairing in his absence. 😊💜
