Friend Recently Finds Ex on dating app and tells me
Kind of upset with my friend for telling me I didn’t need to know. It hurts to know she said she wasn’t ready to date anyone 4 months ago because of work and school but now she’s back in the game. After being out of her life for a while now it still kinda hurts but I guess it just part of life

finding your ex on dating app or even thinking about them trying to move on is hard and it's ok to feel upset about it even if it's part of life 💕
you are still allowed to feel upset and share your thoughts about it :)
Hey so I know like it’s been 5 months and I shouldn’t be mad about it. 5 months ago she said she wasn’t ready as she was getting kicked out of school. I was hurt like never before deep in love. Now she hates me. Today she unfollowed on instagrams after I posted something on my story. I had already unfollowed her a while ago when she lashed out at me

even if relationships don't work out... a part of us still grieves for the loss so i think it's ok to be mad and feel hurt ... you just don't need to project or expect from the other person... but your feelings are personal to you and valid too :)
how are you coping with the break up?
The first is always hard. We put a lot of hopes and expectations on the first relationship. And most of the time the first relationship doesn’t end well, but it’s our first heartbreak too; so it’s so difficult to make sense of what happened.
All I can say, is that if she is actively moving on and seeking to date other people, it will only harm you to hold onto her when she’s already planning to have nothing to do with you. I am reminded of a quote - “There’s no point watering dead roses.” It’s OK - it doesn’t mean you failed. It doesn’t mean you’re a terrible person. Most of our relationships teach us something about ourselves and tells us something about what people need, and we are all learning how to love. It’s something that we get better at with each experience, to learn to treat people better and to learn to be more confident in ourselves and to become better partners.
But in order to move forward in your relationships, and your journey, you first need to stop LOOKING BACK. Regrets and sadness about the past will not bring you the happiness that you seek in your future. Every moment you spend hanging onto a girl that doesn’t even care about you, is a moment that you could be spending with someone else who makes you happy, who appreciates you! Learn to value yourself, and to appreciate what your time and happiness is worth.
All the best to you ~!
